# Manvro > Manvro is a web agency. We build presentation websites, web apps, mobile apps and AI automations for local businesses and companies. The site is available in English (https://www.manvro.com/) and Romanian (https://www.manvro.com/ro). Manvro is based in Bucharest, Romania. It meets clients at their office anywhere in Bucharest or Ilfov County, or online, and works online with businesses in the rest of Romania and abroad, in English or Romanian. ## Services - Web design (Web design): A site that loads fast and looks right on any screen. We design it from scratch for your business, with your words, photos and colours. Page: https://www.manvro.com/web-design (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/web-design). - Web development (Dezvoltare web): Online bookings, orders, reservations, an admin panel or a customer portal. Apps that run in the browser, built around the way your team works. Page: https://www.manvro.com/web-development (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/dezvoltare-web). - Mobile apps (Aplicații mobile): Apps for iPhone and Android, for your customers or your team: orders, loyalty cards, notifications, bookings. We also publish them on the App Store and Google Play. Page: https://www.manvro.com/mobile-app-development (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/aplicatii-mobile). - AI automation (Automatizări AI): Messages that always need the same answer, orders that arrive by email, data copied by hand from one place to another. An AI system can take over that work, and you step in only when needed. Page: https://www.manvro.com/ai-automation (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/automatizari-ai). ## Who we work with - Local businesses: Run a café, a restaurant, a salon, a repair shop or a clinic? We build you a site that helps new customers find you, see what you offer and call or message you. - Companies: Bookings kept in a notebook, stock tracked in spreadsheets, reports put together by hand every week? We build the app or automation that takes that work off your team. ## How we work 1. We talk: You tell us what you do and what you want to solve. We tell you what can be done, how long it takes and what it costs. The first conversation is free. 2. We sketch: We show you a sketch of the pages or screens, so you can see how it will look before we build it. 3. We build: We design it and write the code. You see the progress along the way and ask for changes when needed. 4. We launch: We put everything online and show you how to use it. We stay available for changes and updates. ## Web design agency Manvro is a web design agency: we design and build websites from scratch, fast and ready for Google. We build them and put them online too. Page: https://www.manvro.com/web-design (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/web-design). ### What we design - Business websites: The pages a business needs: what you offer, prices, about you and contact. For cafés, restaurants, salons, clinics, repair shops and service companies. - Landing pages: A single page for a campaign, a product or an event, made for one thing: an enquiry, a booking or an order. - Redesigns: We rebuild an old or hard-to-use site and keep its page addresses, so you keep what it built up on Google. - Multilingual websites: English, Romanian or your customers' languages, each at its own address, so Google shows everyone the version in their language. - A page for every service: A page for each important service or product, so you show up when someone searches for exactly that. - Text and prices you change: If you want to change the text, photos or prices yourself, the site can have an editing panel. ### Template, website builder or custom design? - Template: Quick to start, but it looks like many other sites. It comes with features and code you do not use, which slow it down. - Wix or Squarespace: You can build it yourself for a monthly fee. The design stays within the platform's limits, and the site cannot easily move to another host. - Custom design: It starts from your business, not from a theme. The code holds only what the site uses, so it loads fast, and every page is planned around what your customers look for. ### What's included - A design made for your business: We start from your logo, colours and photos, not from a template. - Built for phones first: Most visitors arrive on a phone, so every page is designed for the small screen first. - Built with Next.js: Pages are generated ahead of time as ready HTML: they open fast and Google reads them easily. - Ready for Google: Titles and descriptions for every page, structured data (schema.org), a sitemap and clear addresses. - Domain, hosting and email: We register the domain, host the site and set up an email address on that domain. - Changes after launch: When a price, your opening hours or a photo changes, write to us and we update the site. ### Questions - What does web design include? Web design is how a site looks and works: which pages it has, what each one says, in what order, and how it looks on a phone and on a computer. With us, design always comes with the build: we design the site, then code it and put it online, so the published site looks exactly like the design you approved. - How much does a business website cost? It depends on how many pages it has, how many languages and what extra features you need, such as a booking form or an editing panel. After our first conversation we send you the price, before any work starts. - What technology do you build websites with? Next.js and React, with styles written in Tailwind CSS. Pages are generated ahead of time as ready HTML, so they load fast and are easy to read for Google and for AI assistants. - Can I change the text and photos myself? Yes, if you want to. The site can have an editing panel for text, photos and prices. If you prefer, write to us and we make the change. - Will my site show up on Google? We build it so Google can understand it: every page has a title and a description, the content is text, and your business details are marked up for search engines. Where you rank also depends on competition and reviews, so we do not promise a position. - I already have a website. Can you redesign it? Yes. We start from what you have and keep the page addresses or redirect them to the new ones, so the new site does not lose what the old one built up on Google. - Can the site take bookings or orders? Yes. A form that sends the request by email is part of the site. Bookings with a calendar, orders with payment or customer accounts we build as a web app. - What kinds of businesses do you work with? Local businesses such as cafés, restaurants, salons, clinics and repair shops, and service companies. Cafés and restaurants have their own pages: websites for coffee shops and websites for restaurants. - Do you work with businesses outside Romania? Yes. Calls, the sketch and the handover all happen online, and the site can be in English, Romanian or both. ## Web development We build custom web apps: online bookings and reservations, orders and online shops, admin panels, customer portals and integrations. With Next.js and React. Page: https://www.manvro.com/web-development (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/dezvoltare-web). ### What we build - Online bookings and reservations: A calendar where customers pick their own time, with an email confirmation and each team member's schedule. - Orders and online shops: Products, a cart, card payments and delivery, or orders for pickup. - Admin panels: Where your team sees and manages orders, bookings, customers or stock. - Customer portals: Customers sign in and see their orders, invoices, documents or how their job is going. - Integrations: We connect the app to the software you already use, through its API: invoicing, CRM, payments, email, calendar. - Internal tools: For your team: quotes, inventory, timesheets or internal requests, made for the way you work. ### Custom app or off-the-shelf software? - Off-the-shelf software: Ready the same day, with a monthly fee for every user. Your team works the way the software was designed, not the way it works. - Spreadsheets and email: They work at first. As the business grows, data gets copied by hand, different versions of the same sheet appear and requests get lost. - A custom app: It does exactly what you need and connects to the software you already have. There is no fee per user, and when a new need comes up, we add it. ### What's included - A look at how you work: Before any code, we write down step by step how you work today and what the app has to do. - A design for every screen: Clear screens that are easy to use on a computer and on a phone. - Code written from scratch: Next.js and React, with a database and accounts with different permissions for each role on your team. - Security and backups: An encrypted connection (HTTPS), role-based access and backups of your data. - Launch on your domain: We put the app online, import the data you already have and show you how to use it. - Changes and new features: After launch, write to us with what you want changed or added. ### Questions - What is a web app? Software that runs in the browser, on a computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to install. For example: an online booking system, an online shop or a panel where your team sees the orders. - How much does a web app cost? It depends on how many screens and features it has, how many user roles there are and what software it has to connect to. After our first conversation we send you the price, before any work starts. We can also start with a first version with the core features and extend it later. - What technologies do you use? We build with Next.js and React, with Tailwind CSS for the design. Data lives in a database on the server, and we connect to other software through its API. - What is the difference between a website and a web app? A presentation website shows information: what you offer, prices, contact. A web app works with data: customers book, your team sees the orders, everyone has their own account. For presentation websites, see web design. - Does the app work on phones? Yes. A web app opens in the phone's browser and can be added to the home screen like an icon. If you need notifications, a loyalty card or a listing on the App Store and Google Play, we build a mobile app. - Can it connect to the software we already use? Yes, if the software has an API or lets you export data: invoicing, CRM, payments, email, calendars. We check this in the first conversation. - Can you also automate the work around the app? Yes. Repetitive emails, documents and reports can be handled by AI automations connected to the app. - What happens after launch? We stay available for changes, new features and updates. Tell us what you want and we tell you how long it takes and what it costs. ## Mobile apps We build mobile apps for iPhone and Android with React Native (Expo), for your customers or your team. We also publish them on the App Store and Google Play. Page: https://www.manvro.com/mobile-app-development (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/aplicatii-mobile). ### What we build - Apps for your customers: Orders, reservations or bookings from the phone, with the customer's account and history. - Loyalty cards: Points or stamps on the phone instead of paper cards, and offers for customers who come back. - Notifications: Messages straight to your customers' phones: the order is ready, the appointment is coming up, there is a new offer. - Apps for your team: For people in the field: orders, inventory, photos from the job, signatures and timesheets. - Phone features: The camera, code scanning, location, Apple Pay and Google Pay, unlocking with Face ID or a fingerprint. - The same data as your website: The app uses the same accounts and data as your website or web app, so a customer sees the same orders wherever they sign in. ### Mobile app, web app or both? - Web app: Opens in the browser with nothing to install and reaches anyone with the link. A good fit when customers use it now and then. - Mobile app: Installed from the App Store or Google Play and kept on the phone's home screen. A good fit for customers who come back often: notifications, loyalty cards, quick orders. - Both: The same accounts and the same data, in the browser and on the phone. With React on the web and React Native on mobile, part of the code is shared. ### What's included - Design for iPhone and Android: Screens that work the way people expect on each phone. - One codebase: React Native and Expo: the same app on both platforms, built and updated once. - Server and admin panel: When the app needs them: the database, accounts and a panel where you see orders and send notifications. - Test builds on your phone: Along the way, you install the app on your own phone and try it before launch. - Publishing on the App Store and Google Play: We prepare the screenshots, text and store settings and submit the app for review. - Updates after launch: Fixes, new features and the updates new versions of iOS and Android require. ### Questions - How much does a mobile app cost? It depends on how many screens and features it has, whether it has accounts and payments, and whether it needs a server and an admin panel. After our first conversation we send you the price, before any work starts. The stores charge their own fees: Apple asks $99 a year for a developer account, Google Play a one-time $25. - Why React Native? Because the same app runs on iPhone and Android: we build and update it once, and its screens use the phone's native components. With Expo, small fixes can reach users without a new store review. - Do I need a mobile app, or is a website enough? If your customers come back often and would use notifications, a loyalty card or quick ordering, a mobile app is worth it. If they mostly find you on Google and come now and then, a website or a web app fits better, because nothing has to be installed. - Whose account is the app published under? We recommend your company's own developer account, so the app stays yours. We help you set it up and handle the publishing. - How long does App Store and Google Play approval take? Apple's review usually takes a day or two. On Google Play, new personal developer accounts first have to test the app with at least 12 testers for 14 days; organisation accounts do not have this requirement. - What happens after launch? Apple and Google release new versions of iOS and Android every year, and apps have to be updated to stay in the stores. We handle those updates, fixes and new features. - Do you work with companies outside Romania? Yes. Calls, sketches and test builds all happen online, and the app can be in English, Romanian or both. ## AI automation We build AI automations for businesses: replies to messages, orders taken from email, data pulled from documents, reports. With n8n, Make or custom code and models like Claude or GPT. Page: https://www.manvro.com/ai-automation (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/automatizari-ai). ### What is AI automation AI automation is a workflow that does a company's repetitive work on its own and uses a language model, such as Claude or GPT, for the steps where text needs understanding: a free-form email, a scanned invoice, a customer's question. Steps that are always the same run without AI, usually in n8n or Make. ### What we automate - Replies to messages: Questions that keep coming by email, chat or WhatsApp get an answer straight away, from your company's information. New ones go to a person. - Orders from email: Orders and requests that arrive by email are read and entered straight into your spreadsheet, your software or your app. - Data from documents: From invoices, contracts, forms or receipts, the AI pulls out the data you need and puts it where it belongs. - Automatic reports: Figures from several tools, gathered into a report that arrives by email every week. - Data moved between tools: A new customer from a form lands in your CRM, your spreadsheet and your email list on its own, with nothing copied by hand. - An assistant for your team: An assistant that answers your team's questions from company documents: procedures, prices, past quotes. ### Examples by industry - Online stores: Answers to “where is my order”; Orders entered into your inventory system; A daily sales report - Clinics and salons: Bookings by chat or phone; Confirmations and reminders; Answers about prices and hours - Service businesses: Quote requests collected and sorted; Quotes prepared from your price list; Contracts and invoices with nothing copied by hand - Restaurants: Bookings on your website, on WhatsApp or by phone; Questions about the menu; Orders entered straight into your system ### Automation, AI or a person? - Simple automation: For steps that are always the same: a form comes in, a row is added to a sheet and an email goes out. We build it in n8n or Make, without AI. - AI: For what needs understanding: a free-form email, a scanned invoice, a question in the customer's own words. We use models like Claude or GPT. - A person on your team: For decisions, exceptions and unhappy customers. The system sends them only the cases that need them, with everything they need to know. ### What's included - A look at the repetitive work: Together we look at what your team does every day and pick what is worth automating first. - The right tool: n8n or Make for simple flows, custom code for the rest. We choose by volume, cost and how often the flow changes. - Connections to your tools: Email, Google Sheets or Excel, CRM, invoicing, WhatsApp, through their APIs. - Human review where it matters: Anything uncertain goes to someone on your team before it reaches a customer. - Logs and alerts: You see what the system did and find out straight away if something went wrong. - Adjustments after launch: We watch the first results and adjust, then move on to the next automation. ### Questions - What can AI automate in a business? Repetitive work with text and data: answers to common questions, orders taken from email, data pulled from invoices and documents, reports, data moved from one tool to another. Decisions and exceptions stay with people. - How much does an AI automation cost? It depends on how many steps it has, how many tools it connects and how many messages or documents go through it. Besides the build, there are monthly costs for the tools: an n8n or Make subscription if needed, and the AI model, paid by usage. We list every cost in the quote. - What tools do you use? n8n or Make for simple flows and custom code for complex or high-volume ones. For the AI part we use models such as Claude, from Anthropic, or GPT, from OpenAI, through their APIs. - What happens to our company's data? Data only goes through the tools that are needed. Through the API, Anthropic and OpenAI do not use submitted data to train their models by default, and n8n can run on your own server, so the data does not pass through other services. - Can the AI make mistakes? Yes. That is why we use it where a mistake can be caught: uncertain answers and new cases go to a person, and the system keeps a log of everything it did. - Do we have to change the software we use? No. The automation connects to what you already have: email, Google Sheets or Excel, your CRM, your invoicing software. If a tool has no API, we look for another way, such as a data export. - How is this different from a chatbot? A chatbot answers messages. An AI automation also does the work behind them: it reads the order, enters it into your software, sends the confirmation and lets your team know. When the steps differ from one request to the next, we use an AI agent. - Do you also build apps around the automation? Yes. When the automation needs a screen, for example a panel where your team approves orders, we build it as a web app. ## AI agents We build AI agents for businesses: they read requests, look things up in your software, prepare quotes and orders, and ask for approval where it matters. With Claude or GPT. Page: https://www.manvro.com/ai-agents (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/agenti-ai). ### What is an AI agent An AI agent is a program that uses a language model, such as Claude or GPT, to decide the next step, and has access to tools: email, your calendar, your CRM, a spreadsheet or your invoicing software. A regular automation takes the same steps every time. An agent chooses its steps based on what it receives, so it copes with requests that never look the same. ### What an AI agent can do - Quote requests: It reads the request, looks up prices and availability and writes the quote. Someone on your team checks it and sends it. - Orders and bookings: It takes the order or booking that comes in by email, chat or WhatsApp, enters it into your software and sends the confirmation. - Customer support: It answers from your company's documents and checks on its own where an order is or whether an invoice has been paid. New cases go to a person. - Lead qualification: It asks the questions your sales team needs, records the answers in your CRM and passes on the right leads. - Research and summaries: It gathers information from documents or public websites and writes a summary, with the source of each point. - Follow-ups and reminders: Every day it checks for late orders or unpaid invoices and writes to the customer or the colleague in charge. ### Examples by industry - Service businesses: Quotes prepared from your price list; Contracts filled in from the client's details; Follow-ups on unanswered requests - Online stores: Answers to “where is my order”, with tracking; Returns logged in your software; Stock checked before replying - Clinics and salons: Appointments checked against the calendar; Confirmations and reminders; Questions about prices and preparation - Distribution and manufacturing: Email orders entered into your system; Incoming invoices matched to the order; A daily report of what shipped ### AI agent or automation? - Automation: For steps that are always the same: a form comes in, a row is added to a sheet, an email goes out. We build it in n8n or Make. - AI agent: For tasks where the steps depend on the request: the agent understands what is asked and chooses which tool to use. - Both: Most of the time we combine them: the automation receives the request and takes the steps that never change, the agent handles what needs understanding. ### What's included - The agent's role: We write down what it does, what it doesn't do and when it hands over to a person. - Access only where needed: The agent only gets access to the software and data its task needs. - Approval for important steps: Anything that can't be taken back, such as a quote sent or a message to many customers, waits for someone on your team to approve it. - Tests on real cases: We run it on your past requests and compare the result with what your team did. - Logs and alerts: You see every step the agent took and find out straight away if something went wrong. - Monthly cost: We show you how much the AI model uses, so you know in advance what you'll pay. ### Questions - What is an AI agent? A program that uses a language model to decide the steps of a task on its own, with access to tools such as email, your CRM or your invoicing software. Unlike an automation, it doesn't follow steps written in advance. - What's the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot? A chatbot answers questions. An agent also does the work: it finds the order, changes it, writes the quote, sends the confirmation. For conversations with customers on your website or WhatsApp we also build AI chatbots. - Can an AI agent make mistakes? Yes. That's why it only gets access where needed, and anything that can't be undone waits for a person to approve it. The log shows every step, so a mistake is easy to spot and fix. - What data does the agent see? Only the data in the tools we give it access to, for its task. Through the API, Anthropic and OpenAI do not use submitted data to train their models by default. - How much does an AI agent cost? The price is set for each project after the first conversation. The build depends on how many tools it connects and how many situations it has to handle. Each month you pay for the AI model by usage, usually a few dollars to a few tens of dollars at a small business's volume, plus any tools. More in How much does AI automation cost for a small business? - Do we have to change the software we use? No. The agent works in the software you have, through its API. If a tool has no API, we look for another way, such as a data export. - Do we have to tell customers they're talking to an AI? In the EU, yes: since 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the AI Act requires people to be told they are interacting with an AI system unless it is obvious, and California has a similar rule for bots used in sales. The agent introduces itself as a virtual assistant in its first message. - Who owns the agent? Your company. Accounts for the AI model and the tools are set up in your company's name, and we hand over the rules and configuration. ## AI chatbots We build AI chatbots for websites and WhatsApp: they answer customers from your company's information, take enquiries and bookings, and hand over to a person when needed. Page: https://www.manvro.com/ai-chatbots (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/chatbot-ai). ### What is an AI chatbot An AI chatbot uses a language model, such as Claude or GPT, to understand a question written in the customer's own words and to answer from your company's information: services, prices, opening hours, delivery. Older chatbots worked with buttons and keywords. One with AI also understands questions asked in ways you didn't expect. ### What the chatbot does - Answers questions: Opening hours, prices, delivery, availability: it replies straight away, only from the information you've approved. - Takes enquiries: When someone is interested, it asks for their contact details and what they need, and sends them to your inbox or CRM. - Books appointments: It finds a free slot in your calendar, books it in the conversation and sends the confirmation. - Tracks orders: It looks up the order by number or email and tells the customer where it is. - Hands over to a person: When it doesn't know, or the customer asks for a person, the conversation goes to your team with everything said so far. - Speaks several languages: It replies in the language it's written to, for example English or Spanish. ### Examples by industry - Restaurants and cafés: Questions about the menu; Table bookings for a set time; Opening hours and delivery - Clinics and salons: Prices and how long services take; Bookings and rescheduling; What to prepare beforehand - Online stores: Order status; Sizes, stock and returns; Suggestions from what's in stock - Service businesses: Quote requests with every detail; Areas served and lead times; Replies outside business hours ### Website or WhatsApp? - On your website: A chat window on your site, for people who find you on Google and want information. There's no per-message cost, only the AI model. - On WhatsApp: Through the WhatsApp Business Platform, on a company number. Meta charges per message by type and country, and customers write to you in an app they already use. - On both: One chatbot, with the same information, updated in one place. ### What's included - The chatbot's information: We gather it from your website, your documents and your team's answers, and you approve it. - Tone and limits: We decide how it speaks and what it won't do: no promises of discounts, deadlines or anything that isn't in its information. - Handover to your team: We choose who receives conversations, on which channel, and how the customer knows a person has taken over. - Setup: We put it on your website and your company's WhatsApp number and connect it to your calendar or CRM. - Every conversation visible: You see every conversation and what the chatbot replied. - Updates: When prices or hours change, we update its information and check its answers. ### Questions - What is an AI chatbot? An assistant that understands freely written questions and answers from your company's information, using a language model such as Claude or GPT. Unlike button-based chatbots, it doesn't need the question asked in a particular way. - How does the chatbot know what to say? From the information we give it: the text on your website, your price list, your FAQs, your returns policy. For each question it searches that information and answers only from what it finds. - What happens if it doesn't know the answer? It says it doesn't know and hands the conversation to someone on your team, or asks the customer for their details so someone can call them back. - Can it work on WhatsApp? Yes, through the WhatsApp Business Platform, the API version for businesses. Meta charges per message by type and country; prices and rules are in WhatsApp chatbot for business. - Does it work on any website? On any website where a script can be added: WordPress, Shopify, Wix or a custom-built site. - Does it have to say it's an AI? In the EU, yes: since 2 August 2026 the AI Act requires people to be told they are talking to an AI system, at the latest at the first message. The chatbot introduces itself as a virtual assistant. - How much does an AI chatbot cost? The price is set for each project after the first conversation. The build depends on how much it needs to know and how many tools it connects to. Each month you pay for the AI model by usage and, on WhatsApp, Meta's message fees. More in How much does AI automation cost for a small business? - What happens to customer data? Conversations are handled under data protection law (GDPR in the EU) and are covered in your website's privacy policy. Through the API, Anthropic and OpenAI do not use submitted data to train their models by default. ## AI receptionist We build AI receptionists that answer your business phone: they book appointments and reservations, answer questions, transfer calls to a person and send you a summary. Page: https://www.manvro.com/ai-receptionist (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/agent-vocal-ai). ### What is an AI receptionist An AI receptionist turns what the caller says into text, picks the answer with a language model and speaks it in a synthetic voice, in real time. Unlike a phone menu (“press 1 for…”), the caller just talks, and the receptionist can book straight into your calendar. ### What it does on the phone - Answers calls: Every call, only missed calls or only after hours, as you choose. - Books appointments: It finds a free slot in your calendar, books it and sends a confirmation by text or email. - Takes reservations and orders: It notes the reservation or order and enters it into the software you use. - Answers questions: Hours, address, prices, services: it answers from the information you've approved. - Transfers calls: When the caller asks for someone, or the situation calls for it, it transfers the call to your team. - Sends a summary: After every call you get an email with who called, what they asked for and what was agreed. ### Examples by industry - Clinics and dental offices: Bookings and rescheduling; Prices and what to bring; After-hours calls - Restaurants: Table bookings for a set time; Opening hours and address; Takeout orders - Auto repair shops: Service bookings; Questions about services and hours; Messages for the team - Home services and contractors: Requests with the address and the problem; Scheduling the visit; Emergencies transferred to a person ### AI receptionist, phone menu or a person? - Phone menu: The caller listens to options and presses keys. It routes the call but doesn't solve the request. - AI receptionist: The caller says what they want in their own words. The receptionist answers, books the appointment and writes everything down. - A person on your team: For delicate situations, complaints and decisions. The receptionist transfers the call or leaves them a summary. ### What's included - The call script: We write how it greets callers, what it asks, what it can handle on its own and when it transfers. - Voice and language: We choose the voice and test it with the street names, services and products your callers mention. - Connection to your number: We forward calls from your business number: all of them, only missed calls or only after hours. - Calendar and tools: The receptionist sees free slots and writes the booking or order where you work. - Summaries and recordings: You get a summary of every call. If you also want recordings, the receptionist announces them at the start of the call. - Tests with real calls: We test it with real calls, hard questions and background noise before it answers customers. ### Questions - What is an AI receptionist? An assistant that answers the phone: it understands what the caller says, answers out loud and can book appointments or reservations straight into your calendar. It uses a language model, such as Claude or GPT, and a synthetic voice. - Does it sound natural? The leading voice platforms sound close to a person and cope with interruptions. Quality varies from one voice to another, so we choose one by testing it with real calls and with the names and words your callers use. - Do we keep our phone number? Yes. Calls are forwarded from your business number to the receptionist: all of them, only the ones nobody picks up or only those after hours. - Does it have to say it's an AI? In the EU, yes: since 2 August 2026 the AI Act requires people to be told they are talking to an AI system, and on the phone that isn't obvious. In the US the rules vary by state. Either way, it introduces itself as the business's virtual assistant in its first sentence. - What if the caller wants to talk to a person? The receptionist transfers the call to a colleague or, if nobody is available, takes a message and sends you the summary so you can call back. - Can it make calls too? Yes, for confirmations and reminders to customers who have an appointment. Automated marketing calls need the person's prior consent: in the US under the TCPA, in the EU under each country's e-privacy rules. - How much does an AI receptionist cost? The price is set for each project after the first conversation. The build depends on how much it has to do and how many tools it connects to. Voice platforms usually charge between $0.07 and $0.31 per minute of conversation, so a few tens of dollars a month for a few hundred short calls. More in AI phone answering for small businesses. - Are calls recorded? Only if you want them to be. In that case the receptionist announces the recording at the start, which some US states require for everyone on the call, and your privacy policy says how long recordings are kept. Summaries can be sent without recording. ## n8n automation We build n8n automations for businesses: we connect your tools, add AI steps and set up n8n on your own server or in n8n Cloud. Tested workflows, with alerts when something fails. Page: https://www.manvro.com/n8n-automation (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/automatizari-n8n). ### What is n8n n8n is an automation tool in which a workflow is built from nodes: a trigger, such as a new email, a submitted form or a time of day, and the steps that follow. It has ready-made integrations for hundreds of apps, AI nodes and nodes where you can write code. It can be self-hosted for free or used in the cloud. ### What we automate in n8n - Leads and forms: A submitted form lands in your CRM and your spreadsheet, and the customer gets a reply straight away. - Emails read by AI: Orders and requests in your inbox are read by an AI model and entered into your software. - Invoices: The invoice is created from the order in your invoicing software and sent to the customer. - Scheduled reports: Every Monday morning, figures from several tools arrive in a report by email. - Data kept in sync: Stock, prices or customers stay the same in your online store, your spreadsheet and your inventory system. - Alerts: You get a message by email, Slack or Telegram when a large order comes in, a payment is late or something fails. ### Examples by industry - Online stores: Orders entered into your inventory system; Shipping labels created and sent to the customer; Review requests after delivery - Service businesses: Leads from forms into your CRM; Quotes generated from a template; Follow-ups when a client doesn't reply - Accounting and admin: Incoming invoices saved and sorted; Monthly reports; Payment reminders - Marketing agencies: Leads from ads into your CRM; A report with the ad figures; Scheduled posts ### n8n, Make or custom code? - n8n: For long workflows with AI steps and high volume. You pay per run of the whole workflow, and it can run on your own server. - Make: For short workflows between well-known apps, when you want to edit them yourself. You pay for each step. - Custom code: For very high volume or software with no ready-made integration. We write it and connect it to the rest. ### What's included - The workflow, step by step: Before we build it, we write down what each step does, so you know exactly what runs. - n8n setup: On your own server, with the data staying with you, or in n8n Cloud under your company's account. - Credentials kept safe: Passwords and API keys are stored encrypted in n8n, not in workflows or emails. - Error handling: Steps that can fail are retried automatically, and if they still fail, you get an alert. - Documentation: Each workflow has a short description: what it does, what it depends on and who maintains it. - Adjustments after launch: We watch the first runs and adjust, then move on to the next workflow. ### Questions - What is n8n? An automation tool in which workflows are built visually from nodes: a trigger and the steps that follow. It has integrations for hundreds of apps, AI nodes and code nodes. - Is n8n free? The Community edition, self-hosted on your own server, is free for internal business use; you only pay for the server. n8n Cloud starts at €20 a month on annual billing. - n8n or Make? Make is simpler for short workflows. n8n suits long workflows with AI and high volume better, because you pay per run of the whole workflow, not per step. The full comparison is in n8n vs Make vs Zapier. - Where is the data stored? Self-hosted, n8n keeps the data wherever you install it. n8n Cloud stores data in the EU, in Frankfurt. - Can we edit the workflows ourselves? Yes. n8n workflows are shown as a diagram, and at handover we show you how they're built. For bigger changes you can write to us at any time. - What happens if a workflow stops? Steps that can fail are retried automatically, and if they still fail, you get an alert with the error. n8n keeps a history of every run, so you can see where it stopped. - How much does an n8n automation cost? The price is set for each project after the first conversation. The build depends on how many steps the workflow has and how many tools it connects. Each month you pay for the server or n8n Cloud and, if the workflow has AI steps, for the model by usage. More in How much does AI automation cost for a small business? - Do you also work with Make? Yes. If you already use Make, or a workflow is simpler there, we build it in Make. ## Websites for coffee shops We build websites for coffee shops: the menu with prices, opening hours, the address on a map and photos of the place. Domain, hosting and updates handled. Page: https://www.manvro.com/coffee-shop-websites (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/site-pentru-cafenea). ### What customers find on the site - The menu with prices: Written as text, not posted as a photo or a PDF: easy to read on a phone, and Google can read it too. - Opening hours: The hours for every day of the week, visible straight away. - Address and directions: A map and a button that opens directions in Google Maps or Waze, straight from the phone. - Photos of the café: The place and what you serve, in large photos that load fast, even on mobile data. - Orders and calls: Buttons to the delivery apps you use and to your phone number, so a customer can order or call with one tap. - Instagram and reviews: Links to your Instagram account and to your café's Google reviews. ### Website, Instagram or Google Maps? - Instagram: Good for news and atmosphere. Prices and opening hours get lost between posts. - Google Maps: Where people nearby find you: address, opening hours, reviews. Your profile has room for a link to your website and one to your menu; without a site, both lead to Instagram or nowhere. - Your website: The one place you fully control: the menu, prices, photos and words are yours, on your café's own domain. Google reads it as text, so you can also show up when someone searches for what you serve, not just for your café's name. ### What's included - A design made for your café: We start from your café's colours, logo and photos, not from a template. - Built for phones first: Most customers open it on a phone, so that is where we start. - Ready for Google: Titles and descriptions for search, structured data for a café (schema.org), a map and a link to your Google Maps profile. - Domain, hosting and email: We register the domain (for example yourcafe.com), host the site and set up an email address on that domain. - Changes after launch: When a price, the opening hours or a photo changes, write to us and we update the site. ### Questions - How much does a coffee shop website cost? It depends on how many pages it has, whether you want it in more than one language and what extra features you need, such as bookings. After our first conversation we send you the price, before any work starts. - What do you need from me to start? Your menu with prices, opening hours, address and a few photos. Your logo and colours help, if you have them. If the photos are not enough, we tell you what else to shoot. - Can I change menu prices after launch? Yes. Tell us what changed in the menu, the opening hours or the photos and we update the site. - Can the site be in two languages? Yes. The menu and the rest of the site can have a second language, for tourists and for customers who speak another language. - Can customers order or book on the site? The site can send customers to your delivery apps and to your phone. Orders or bookings through your own site we build as a web app, and a loyalty card as a mobile app. - Do you work with coffee shops outside Romania? Yes. Calls, the sketch and the handover all happen online, so it does not matter where your café is. - Will my café show up on Google? The site is built so Google can understand it: the menu is text, the pages have clear titles and descriptions, and the address, opening hours and menu are marked up for search engines. Where you rank also depends on reviews, on your Google Maps profile and on the other cafés nearby, so we do not promise a position. - I already have a website. Can you rebuild it? Yes. We start from what you have and keep the address, so the new site does not lose what the old one built up on Google. ## Websites for restaurants We build websites for restaurants: the menu with prices, bookings, opening hours, the address and photos of your dishes. Domain, hosting and updates handled. Page: https://www.manvro.com/restaurant-websites (Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/site-pentru-restaurant). ### What customers find on the site - The menu with prices: Written as text, with the portion size and allergens of every dish. Easy to read on a phone, and Google can read it too. - Bookings: A button to call, a form that sends the booking to your email, or a link to the booking platform you already use. - Today's menu: Today's dishes, there in the morning. If you like, you change it yourself, from a simple panel. - Opening hours and address: The hours for every day, a map and a button that opens directions in Google Maps or Waze. - Photos of your dishes: Your dishes and your dining room, in large photos that load fast, even on mobile data. - Events and groups: What can be held at your place, how many seats you have and how to ask about a birthday or a company dinner. ### Website, Google Maps or delivery apps? - Delivery apps: They bring orders, but take a commission on each one, and your restaurant sits in a list next to all the others. - Google Maps: Where people nearby find you: address, opening hours, reviews. Your profile has room for a link to your website, one to your menu and one for bookings; without a site, they lead to Facebook or nowhere. - Your website: The one place you fully control: the menu, prices, photos and bookings are yours, on your restaurant's own domain, with no commission. Google reads it as text, so you can also show up when someone searches for what you cook, not just for your restaurant's name. ### What's included - A design made for your restaurant: We start from your restaurant's colours, logo and photos, not from a template. - Built for phones first: Most customers open it on a phone, so that is where we start. - Ready for Google: Titles and descriptions for search, structured data for a restaurant (schema.org), a map and a link to your Google Maps profile. - Domain, hosting and email: We register the domain (for example yourrestaurant.com), host the site and set up an email address on that domain. - Changes after launch: When a price, the opening hours or a photo changes, write to us and we update the site. ### Questions - How much does a restaurant website cost? It depends on how many pages it has, whether you want it in more than one language and what extra features you need, such as bookings or online orders. After our first conversation we send you the price, before any work starts. - What do you need from me to start? Your menu with prices and portion sizes, opening hours, address and a few photos. Your logo and colours help, if you have them. If the photos are not enough, we tell you what else to shoot. - Can the menu show portion sizes and allergens? Yes. Besides its price, every dish can have its portion size, its allergens and a photo. - Can I change today's menu myself? Yes. For today's menu we can build a simple panel where you update it yourself. Other changes (prices, opening hours, photos) we make when you write to us. - Can customers book a table on the site? Yes. The simplest way is a form that sends the booking to your email, or a button to the booking platform you already use. A system with free tables and times we build as a web app. - Can I take orders without paying commission? The site can send customers to your delivery apps. Orders straight through your own site, without the apps' commission, we build as a web app. - Can the site be in two languages? Yes. The menu and the rest of the site can have a second language, for tourists and for customers who speak another language. - Do you work with restaurants outside Romania? Yes. Calls, the sketch and the handover all happen online, so it does not matter where your restaurant is. - Will my restaurant show up on Google? A website paid for once costs more at the start, plus yearly hosting and domain, but it stays yours if the domain, the accounts and the copyright are in your business's name. Compare over three to five years, and find out what happens when you want to leave. - [Schema markup for local business: what still works](https://www.manvro.com/blog/schema-markup-for-local-business) (en, 2026-10-29): Schema markup is a block of code, usually JSON-LD, that tells search engines unambiguously who you are: name, address, phone, hours, what you sell. A local business needs Organization on the home page and LocalBusiness (or the most specific subtype, such as Dentist or HairSalon), plus BreadcrumbList and Article on the blog. Since 7 May 2026 Google no longer shows FAQ rich results, and it requires no special markup for AI Overviews; what it does require is that markup matches the visible page. - [What a salon or barbershop website needs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/salon-and-barbershop-website) (en, 2026-10-29): A salon or barbershop website has to answer four questions fast: what do you do, what does it cost and how long does it take, how do I book, and what does your work look like. The booking button stays visible on every phone screen and goes straight to the calendar, and the price list is text, not a photo. If you book through a marketplace platform such as Fresha, sending clients from your own site keeps them out of the new-client fee the platform charges for clients it finds for you. - [What a real estate agent website needs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/real-estate-agent-website) (en, 2026-10-29): A real estate website has three jobs: show your listings better than the portals do, bring in sellers who want to list, and show who your agents are. In the US, listings come in automatically through an IDX feed from your MLS, so nothing is typed twice. Since the NAR settlement took effect on 17 August 2024, buyer-agent compensation can't be offered on the MLS and buyers sign a written agreement before touring, so your site is now the natural place to explain how you work and how you're paid. - [How to accept payments on your website: Stripe, PayPal or Square?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-to-accept-payments-on-your-website) (en, 2026-10-29): To take card payments on your website you need a payment processor such as Stripe, PayPal or Square. In the US, Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per online card payment with no monthly fee, PayPal Checkout 3.49% + 49¢, and Square 3.3% + 30¢ on its free plan. The cheapest setup for most small businesses is a hosted checkout page from the processor: card data never touches your site, and your security paperwork stays minimal. - [Google Consent Mode v2: what it is and when you need it](https://www.manvro.com/blog/google-consent-mode-v2) (en, 2026-10-29): Consent Mode v2 is how your website tells Google what a visitor chose in your cookie banner, through four signals: ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization. Google has required these signals for visitors in the European Economic Area since March 2024 if you want remarketing, audiences and full conversion measurement in Google Ads. It doesn't replace your cookie banner or the consent the law requires; it's the link between the banner and Google's tags. For US-only traffic it isn't required. - [Employee time tracking app: what the law requires](https://www.manvro.com/blog/employee-time-tracking-app) (en, 2026-10-29): Under the Fair Labor Standards Act, US employers must record the hours each non-exempt employee works every day and every week, keep time cards for two years and payroll records for three. The law doesn't require any particular method: paper, a spreadsheet or an app all work if the records are complete and accurate. An app pays off once you have shifts, several sites or people in the field, but GPS and fingerprint clock-ins bring extra rules in states such as New York and Illinois. - [Custom software vs off-the-shelf: how to choose](https://www.manvro.com/blog/custom-software-vs-off-the-shelf) (en, 2026-10-29): Off-the-shelf software is the right choice when your process looks like most businesses': email, accounting, invoicing, a simple CRM. Custom software pays off when the way you work is your advantage, when you pay per-user fees for several tools that don't talk to each other, or when nothing on the market does what you need. Compare over three years, not the first month, and settle who owns the code and the data before you sign. - [What a contractor website needs to win jobs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/contractor-website) (en, 2026-10-29): People hiring a contractor want proof before they ask for an estimate: past projects with photos, location and scope, the exact services you offer, the area you cover and your licence. A contractor website also needs an estimate form that collects the job details up front, and an honest answer to the price question. In several states, including California, your licence number has to appear on the website itself. - [What is llms.txt, and does your website need one?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/what-is-llms-txt) (en, 2026-10-18): llms.txt is a Markdown text file at yoursite.com/llms.txt that summarises a website for AI models and links to its key pages. Jeremy Howard proposed it in September 2024, and no major AI company has adopted it as a standard. Google says you don't need special AI text files to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode, and a 2026 study of 83 sites found OpenAI's and Anthropic's crawlers requested it fewer than 10 times each in 12 weeks. It does no harm and takes little time, but it's no substitute for clear, indexed pages. - [Why is my website not getting leads?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-not-getting-leads) (en, 2026-10-18): A website that gets visits but no enquiries usually has one of three problems: visitors are looking for something else, the page doesn't quickly answer their questions (what you do, where, what it costs, why you), or getting in touch is hard on a phone. If it gets no visits either, the problem starts with Google. And sometimes the leads do come in but the reply is slow: research published in Harvard Business Review found firms that responded within an hour were nearly seven times as likely to qualify the lead as those that responded an hour later. - [How much does website hosting cost?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-hosting-cost) (en, 2026-10-18): Hosting for a small business website usually costs $3–$25 a month. Shared hosting for a WordPress site starts around $3 a month on a multi-year intro deal and renews at roughly $11–$17; a site built in code can run on platforms such as Vercel, Netlify or Cloudflare, free within their limits or from $20 a month for commercial use. SSL is free with almost every host. Compare renewal prices, not the first-year price. - [Website hacked: what to do, step by step](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-hacked-what-to-do) (en, 2026-10-18): If your website has been hacked, change every password straight away (hosting, admin panel, FTP, database, email), take the site offline or put up a maintenance page, and tell your hosting company. Then restore a backup from before the attack or clean the files, fix the cause, usually an outdated plugin, and ask Google for a review in Search Console. If customers' personal data was exposed, breach notification laws apply: in every US state, and under the GDPR within 72 hours in the EU. - [Website brief template: what to put in it before you ask for quotes](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-brief-template) (en, 2026-10-18): A website brief is the document in which you write down, before asking for quotes, what the site has to do: who you are, who it's for, which pages and features it needs, who provides the copy and photos, the deadline and the budget. With it, quotes from different agencies can be compared, and the contract has something to check the finished site against. Two or three pages are usually enough; below is a template to copy. - [Outsourcing software development to Romania: rates, pros and how to hire](https://www.manvro.com/blog/software-development-outsourcing-romania) (en, 2026-10-18): Romania is one of the most common places in Europe to outsource software development: median rates in 2026 are about $30 an hour for a mid-level developer and $42 for a senior, English proficiency is among the highest in the world, and as an EU member it works under the GDPR. You can hire a dedicated developer by the hour or month, or an agency for a fixed-price project. Whichever you choose, get the copyright in the code assigned to your company in writing. - [Shopify vs WooCommerce: which should you choose for your online store?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/shopify-vs-woocommerce) (en, 2026-10-18): Shopify is the easier choice if you don't want to deal with anything technical: from $29 a month billed annually, hosting and updates included, but it charges an extra 2% per order on the Basic plan if you don't use Shopify Payments. WooCommerce is free and takes no commission, but you pay for hosting, paid extensions and someone to keep it updated. A custom-built store makes sense when neither platform does what your business needs. - [Questions to ask a web designer before you hire them](https://www.manvro.com/blog/questions-to-ask-a-web-designer) (en, 2026-10-18): Choose the web designer who understood what the site must achieve, tells you in writing what you get for the price, and leaves you the owner of the site. The most important questions: whose name the domain, accounts and copyright are in, what exactly the price includes, who writes the copy, which platform and why, how long the warranty is, and what you'll pay each year after launch. Compare quotes on the total two-year cost, not on the starting price. - [What a medical or dental practice website needs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/medical-practice-website) (en, 2026-10-18): A medical or dental practice website needs a page for each main service, the clinicians with their credentials, the insurance plans you accept, prices or self-pay rates, hours, location and a way to book. In the US, the parts that need care are the rules around them: online forms that collect health information fall under HIPAA, so the tools behind them need a business associate agreement; providers must post a notice that uninsured and self-pay patients can get a Good Faith Estimate; and replies to online reviews must never reveal that someone is a patient. - [What a law firm website needs (and what the ethics rules ban)](https://www.manvro.com/blog/law-firm-website) (en, 2026-10-18): A law firm website needs a page for each practice area, the lawyers with their admissions and credentials, how fees work, and a simple way to get in touch. Under ABA Model Rule 7.1 everything on it must be truthful and not misleading, which includes past results that create unjustified expectations; Rule 7.2 limits who can be called a specialist and requires a responsible lawyer's name and contact details. Many states add their own labels and disclaimers, such as New York's "Attorney Advertising" and "Prior results do not guarantee a similar outcome". - [Landing page vs website: which one do you need?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/landing-page-vs-website) (en, 2026-10-18): A landing page is a single page built for a single action, usually for a campaign: request a quote, book, sign up, buy. A website has several pages and answers every question about the business. For paid ads, a landing page usually brings more enquiries; for ordinary Google searches and trust, you need a website. Most businesses need both: the website, plus a landing page on the same domain for each campaign. - [How to get Google reviews without buying them](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-to-get-google-reviews) (en, 2026-10-18): Most reviews come from a simple request, made to every customer right after the service, with the link or QR code from your Google Business Profile. In BrightLocal's 2026 survey, 83% of people asked for a review left one. Bought, rewarded or cherry-picked reviews break Google's rules and, in the US, the FTC's 2024 rule on fake reviews: Google removes them and can block new reviews and show a warning on your profile. - [How long does it take to build a website?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-long-does-it-take-to-build-a-website) (en, 2026-10-18): A small business website usually takes from a few days to four weeks, an online store from one to six weeks, and a web or mobile app two to four months for a first version. The build itself is rarely the slow part: copy, photos and feedback on drafts are what usually hold a site up. After launch, Google can take from a few days to a few weeks to crawl the new pages. - [The EU AI Act for small businesses: what to do in 2026](https://www.manvro.com/blog/eu-ai-act-small-business) (en, 2026-10-18): The EU AI Act (Regulation 2024/1689) applies in stages. For a small business that uses ChatGPT, a chatbot or a voice assistant, two duties matter now: taking measures so staff know how to use AI (Article 4) and, since 2 August 2026, the transparency rules in Article 50: people must be told when they're talking to an AI, and fake images, video and voices that look real must be labelled. The high-risk rules were pushed back to 2 December 2027 by the Digital Omnibus. The Act also reaches businesses outside the EU when their AI is used in the EU. - [CRM for small business: free, paid or custom?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/crm-for-small-business) (en, 2026-10-18): A CRM keeps your customers, deals and every conversation in one place, so nothing depends on one person's memory or phone. For a business of one to three people the free tiers are usually enough: Zoho CRM is free for 3 users and HubSpot for 2 users and 1,000 contacts. Paid plans start around $14 per user per month billed annually at Pipedrive and Zoho. A custom CRM makes sense when your process doesn't fit a standard tool or per-user pricing gets expensive. - [ChatGPT for small business: subscription or automation?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/chatgpt-for-small-business) (en, 2026-10-18): A ChatGPT, Claude or Copilot subscription helps a person write, summarise and research faster, but it doesn't do the work inside your business tools by itself. For a team, the business plans are the right fit: ChatGPT Business costs $20 per user per month billed annually ($25 monthly), from two users, and doesn't train on your data by default. When the same task repeats dozens of times a day, such as sorting email or drafting quotes, an automation does it without anyone typing into a chat. - [Best n8n automation agencies in Romania (2026)](https://www.manvro.com/blog/best-n8n-agencies-romania) (en, 2026-10-18): The best n8n automation agencies in Romania are Manvro, Makeitfuture, Create Digital, Flowmatic, Stadler & Partners, RoboMarketing, FlowStone and Host1. The others differ mostly in how they charge: a monthly subscription, setup plus a subscription, or a project price. - [WordPress vs a custom-built website: which to choose](https://www.manvro.com/blog/wordpress-vs-custom-website) (en, 2026-10-12): WordPress is a good choice if you want to edit pages often yourself and someone keeps it updated. A custom-built site, for example in Next.js, is faster and has far fewer parts that can break or be attacked, but changes are usually made by a developer. The 2025 data shows the trade-off: on mobile, only 45% of WordPress sites passed Google's speed tests, and 11,334 new vulnerabilities appeared in the WordPress ecosystem, 91% of them in plugins. - [Why is my website slow? How to test and fix it](https://www.manvro.com/blog/why-is-my-website-slow) (en, 2026-10-12): You can test a site's speed for free with PageSpeed Insights, which reports three Google measurements called Core Web Vitals: how long the main content takes to appear (LCP, good under 2.5 seconds), how quickly the page responds to a tap (INP, good under 200 milliseconds) and how much the layout jumps while loading (CLS, good under 0.1). In 2025, only 48% of websites passed all three on mobile. The most common causes of a slow site are oversized images, scripts added by third-party services and heavy themes or plugins. - [Why is my website not showing up on Google?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/why-is-my-website-not-showing-up-on-google) (en, 2026-10-12): The most common reasons are four: the site is too new and Google hasn't visited it yet, a setting tells Google not to index it (a noindex tag left over from development or a wrong robots.txt), the pages have too little text for Google to read, or Google visited the pages and decided not to include them. Search Console's page indexing report and URL Inspection tool tell you which one it is. Google says it can take a few weeks to notice a new site, and that it doesn't accept payment to crawl or rank a site. - [WhatsApp chatbot for business: how it works and what it costs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/whatsapp-chatbot-for-business) (en, 2026-10-12): A WhatsApp chatbot needs the WhatsApp Business Platform, the API version, not just the WhatsApp Business app. Since 1 October 2026, Meta charges for every message a business sends: a reply in an open conversation costs $0.0034 in the US and Canada after the first 1,000 free each month, and a marketing message $0.025, with higher rates in most of Europe. An AI assistant that answers questions about your own business is allowed; Meta's 2026 restrictions target general-purpose AI assistants. - [What is an AI agent, and what can it do for a small business?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/what-is-an-ai-agent) (en, 2026-10-12): An AI agent is a language model that gets a goal and access to tools (email, calendar, spreadsheets, your business software) and decides on its own which steps to take to reach the result. Unlike an automation, which follows steps written in advance, an agent picks its own path: useful for tasks with lots of variation, but harder to control. In a small business it pays off on repetitive tasks that never look quite the same, with a person approving anything that can't be undone. - [What a coffee shop website needs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/what-a-coffee-shop-website-needs) (en, 2026-10-12): A coffee shop website needs, first of all, the menu with prices written as text, opening hours for every day and an address with a directions button. Then come the answers to questions customers ask all the time: can I work on a laptop, do you have a patio, which plant milks do you have, do you sell beans. Photos and the story of the place help, but they come after. - [Website redesign: when it's worth it and how to keep rankings](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-redesign-seo) (en, 2026-10-12): A redesign is worth it when the site is hard to use on a phone, loads slowly, can't be updated or no longer says what the business does. Rankings are usually lost for avoidable reasons: URLs changed without redirects, content removed, titles lost or the new site left blocked from Google at launch. With a list of old URLs, permanent redirects and checks in Search Console, Google moves the signals to the new pages within a few weeks. - [Website maintenance: what it includes and what it costs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-maintenance-cost) (en, 2026-10-12): Website maintenance is everything that keeps a site online, secure and current after launch: renewing the domain and hosting, the SSL certificate, backups, updates, uptime monitoring and content changes. For a small business, published maintenance plans run from about $50 a month for basic updates to $300 and up for plans with security response and development time; agencies such as WebFX start at $350 a month. What you need depends mostly on the technology: a WordPress site with many plugins needs frequent updates, while a site generated as static pages needs far fewer. - [What does a business website legally need?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-legal-requirements) (en, 2026-10-12): In the US, almost every business website needs a privacy policy, because California's CalOPPA requires one from any commercial site that collects personal information from California residents, and a contact form is enough. Larger businesses also fall under state privacy laws such as the CCPA, which applies above $26.625 million in revenue. Add accessible design under the ADA, CAN-SPAM rules for marketing email, and clear terms if you sell online. Selling to the UK or EU adds company details, cookie consent and, from 19 June 2026, an EU withdrawal button. - [Website accessibility: what the ADA and the EAA require](https://www.manvro.com/blog/website-accessibility-ada-eaa) (en, 2026-10-12): In the US, the Department of Justice says the ADA applies to the websites of businesses open to the public, but there's no regulation with a technical standard for them, so courts and settlements usually point to WCAG 2.1 level AA. 3,117 website accessibility lawsuits were filed in federal courts in 2025, 27% more than in 2024. In the EU, the European Accessibility Act has applied to online stores since 28 June 2025, with an exemption for micro-enterprises. Accessibility widgets don't fix the underlying code. - [Web app or mobile app: which does your business need?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/web-app-vs-mobile-app) (en, 2026-10-12): A web app opens in the browser with nothing to install, and it's usually cheaper and easier to update. A mobile app from the App Store and Google Play is worth it when customers use it often or when you need phone features the browser doesn't have, such as NFC on iPhone or background location. In between sits the installable web app (PWA), which on iPhone can send notifications only after the customer adds it to the home screen. - [Restaurant reservation systems: which option to choose](https://www.manvro.com/blog/restaurant-reservation-system) (en, 2026-10-12): A small restaurant usually manages with the phone and a form on its website that sends the request by email. Once bookings pile up, a system that shows open tables and times and confirms on its own saves staff from the phone. Platforms with their own diner network, such as OpenTable, also bring new guests, but charge a monthly fee plus a fee for every guest they send. - [Professional email for your business: Google, Microsoft or Zoho?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/professional-email-address-for-business) (en, 2026-10-12): An email address on your own domain (name@yourbusiness.com) makes your messages look professional and helps keep them out of spam. The most common services are Google Workspace (from $7 per user per month on an annual plan), Microsoft 365 (Business Basic, $7 from July 2026) and Zoho Mail (Mail Lite, about $1). Choose based on the tools your team already uses. Whatever you pick, your domain needs three settings, SPF, DKIM and DMARC, so Gmail and Outlook trust your messages. - [n8n vs Make vs Zapier: which one for a small business?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/n8n-vs-make-vs-zapier) (en, 2026-10-12): Make is the easiest for simple workflows between well-known apps and starts with a free plan. n8n suits long workflows with AI steps and high volume, because it charges per run of the whole workflow rather than per step, and it can be self-hosted for free. Zapier has the most integrations, over 9,000, but gets expensive at volume. The cost difference comes from how each one counts usage. - [Invoice automation for small businesses: what to automate](https://www.manvro.com/blog/invoice-automation-small-business) (en, 2026-10-12): A small business can automate almost every repetitive step in invoicing: creating invoices from orders or contracts, sending them, reading supplier bills, matching payments to invoices and chasing late payers. AI is useful where documents arrive in different formats, such as PDF bills from suppliers; where invoices arrive as structured e-invoices, simple automation is enough. In the US there's no e-invoicing mandate, but several EU countries already require it, and from 1 July 2030 e-invoices become mandatory for business sales between EU countries. - [How to show up in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-to-show-up-in-chatgpt-and-ai-overviews) (en, 2026-10-12): AI assistants cite pages they can read that answer the question clearly. For AI Overviews, Google says nothing is needed beyond normal SEO, and ChatGPT only shows sites its crawler, OAI-SearchBot, is allowed to read. The rest is content and data: direct answers, figures with sources, up-to-date business listings and reviews. - [How to choose and register a domain name, and what it costs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-to-register-a-domain-name) (en, 2026-10-12): Pick a short name that's easy to say and spell, check it isn't someone else's trademark, and register it with an ICANN-accredited registrar in your business's name. A .com typically costs about $10 to $23 a year at retail; Verisign's wholesale price rises from $10.26 to $10.97 on 1 November 2026. Watch renewal prices rather than first-year discounts, turn on auto-renew, and keep the contact email current: an expired domain takes your website and email down with it. - [How much does SEO cost?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-seo-cost) (en, 2026-10-12): SEO is everything you do to rank higher in Google without paying for ads: the technical side of the site, the content of its pages and the business's reputation on other sites. In Ahrefs' survey of 439 SEO providers, the most common retainer was $501–$1,000 a month, and 79% of those in the US and Canada charged at least $1,001. Much of the technical work is done once, when the site is built; a monthly retainer pays off mainly in competitive fields and for online stores. - [How much does it cost to publish an app on the app stores?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-publish-an-app) (en, 2026-10-12): To publish an app, you pay $99 a year for an Apple Developer Program membership and a one-time $25 for a Google Play developer account. Store commissions apply only to digital content sold inside the app; orders, bookings and physical goods are paid through other methods, with no commission to Apple or Google. The real cost is in the preparation and the updates the stores require every year. - [How much does an online store cost in 2026?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-an-online-store-cost) (en, 2026-10-12): In 2026, a small online store on a hosted platform such as Shopify starts at $29 a month on annual billing, plus setup. A store built for you has a median price of about $2,900 with a freelancer and $7,000 with an agency, according to Project Cost Estimator's 2026 model, and custom stores with integrations cost more. Whatever you choose, you also pay card fees on every order, shipping, and the time it takes to stay compliant with sales tax and consumer rules. - [How much does AI automation cost for a small business?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-ai-automation-cost) (en, 2026-10-12): AI automation has three costs: the build, paid once; the tools (n8n, Make or Zapier), from nothing to a few tens of dollars a month for a small business; and the AI model, paid by usage. The model is usually the cheap part: reading a thousand emails and drafting replies costs under a dollar with Claude Haiku 5.5 and about $12 with Claude Sonnet 5.5. The build is the large part, and it depends on how many systems the workflow connects and how many exceptions it has to handle. - [How much does a web app cost?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-a-web-app-cost) (en, 2026-10-12): A simple web app, such as an internal tool for your team, typically costs $12,000–$30,000 and takes 6–10 weeks; a mid-complexity app with several user roles and integrations runs $30,000–$60,000; and a full SaaS platform starts around $100,000, according to a 2026 cost guide. The price comes from the number of screens, the user roles and the systems it connects to, and where the team is based: senior US engineers bill $150–$250 an hour, Eastern European teams $50–$100. Maintenance adds 10–15% of the build cost each year. - [Google Business Profile: a guide for local businesses](https://www.manvro.com/blog/google-business-profile-guide) (en, 2026-10-12): A Google Business Profile is free, and it's the first thing people see when they search for a local business on Google Maps. Google says local results depend on relevance, distance and how well known the business is, and that you can't pay for a better spot. What you can do is verify the profile, fill it in accurately, add photos, and ask for and reply to reviews. - [Direct booking website for a B&B or guesthouse](https://www.manvro.com/blog/direct-booking-website-for-guesthouses) (en, 2026-10-12): A B&B or guesthouse website gets direct bookings when it shows rooms, rates and availability clearly and lets guests book and pay a deposit in a few steps. Every direct booking keeps the commission the platforms would take: Airbnb's host-only fee is 15.5% for most hosts, and Booking.com's rate is set in each property's contract, typically around 15%. In the EU, since 2024, Booking.com can no longer stop you from offering lower prices on your own site. - [Digital loyalty card: your own app or Apple and Google Wallet?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/digital-loyalty-card) (en, 2026-10-12): For most local businesses, a loyalty card in Apple Wallet and Google Wallet is the simplest digital option: customers add it from their phone without installing an app, and the card updates itself with every stamp. A ready-made service costs from $25 a month, while a card built for you needs a $99-a-year Apple developer account and a server that updates it. Your own app is worth it when customers also use it to order or book, not just to collect stamps. - [Commission-free ordering: your site or DoorDash and Uber Eats?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/commission-free-online-ordering) (en, 2026-10-12): In the US, DoorDash charges restaurants 15%, 25% or 30% of each delivery order depending on the plan, and Uber Eats 20% to 30%, with lower rates for pickup. On your own website there's no commission, only card processing (2.9% plus 30¢ at Stripe) and delivery, which you either run yourself or book per order. For most restaurants the right answer is both: the apps bring new customers, your own site keeps the ones who come back. - [AI phone answering for small businesses: how it works and costs](https://www.manvro.com/blog/ai-phone-answering-service) (en, 2026-10-12): An AI phone assistant answers your business line, understands what callers say, replies in a natural voice and can book a table or an appointment straight into your calendar. The platforms that run it typically cost $0.07 to $0.31 per minute of conversation, so a few tens of dollars a month for a few hundred short calls, plus building and testing it. Callers should be told they're talking to an AI, recording rules in states like California and Florida require everyone's consent, and a good assistant can always hand the call to a person. - [What a small business website should include](https://www.manvro.com/blog/what-a-small-business-website-should-include) (en, 2026-10-09): A small business website needs four or five pages: a home page, services with prices, an about page and a contact page. The legal basics come on top: a privacy policy if you collect any personal information (required in California by CalOPPA and in the EU by GDPR), an accessible site under the ADA, and, for EU visitors, consent for cookies that aren't strictly necessary. For Google, what counts is clear text on each page, good titles, speed on a phone and your business details marked up correctly. - [What a restaurant website needs in 2026](https://www.manvro.com/blog/what-a-restaurant-website-needs) (en, 2026-10-09): A restaurant website needs, first of all, the menu with prices written as text, opening hours, an address with a map and a quick way to book or order. If you take orders online, the rules add calories for US chains with 20 or more locations and, in the EU, allergen information before the order. Photos, events and the story of the place help customers choose, but they come after. - [QR code menus: a PDF, an app or a page on your website?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/qr-code-menu) (en, 2026-10-09): A QR code only takes the customer to an address; what matters is what opens. For most restaurants, the best option is a menu page on their own website, reached through a static QR code: it reads well on a phone, Google can read it, and it doesn't depend on any subscription. A PDF is the weakest option, and a menu platform is worth it when you want guests to order and pay from the table. - [Online booking for salons, barbershops and clinics: which option to choose](https://www.manvro.com/blog/online-booking-for-salons-and-clinics) (en, 2026-10-09): For one person offering one or two services, the free booking page in Google Calendar or a free booking app can be enough. A salon or clinic with several people and services of different lengths needs a booking platform or a custom system. Platforms are quick to set up, with a subscription and sometimes fees on new clients; a custom system costs more up front, but follows the way you work and takes no commission. - [How much does a mobile app cost in 2026?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-an-app-cost) (en, 2026-10-09): Most app projects reviewed on Clutch in 2026 cost between $10,000 and $49,999, while the average comes to about $90,800 because a few large projects pull it up. Netguru's 2026 guide puts a simple app at $15,000 to $50,000, a moderately complex one at $50,000 to $150,000 and a complex one above $150,000, at US-market rates. On top of the build come the store fees ($99 a year for Apple, $25 once for Google), servers and yearly maintenance of about 15 to 20% of the build cost. - [How much does a website cost in 2026, and why prices vary so much](https://www.manvro.com/blog/how-much-does-a-website-cost) (en, 2026-10-09): In 2026, a small business website built by a freelancer typically costs $2,000 to $7,600, and a full-service agency charges $5,000 to $15,000 for a custom design, according to WebsiteSetup's guide. A site you build yourself on Wix or Squarespace costs roughly $17 to $120 a month instead. On top of the build, you pay every year for the domain (about $10 to $25 for a .com) and hosting (about $40 to $250). - [Do I need a website for my business?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/do-i-need-a-website-for-my-business) (en, 2026-10-09): Yes, if customers look you up on Google before they visit, compare you with other businesses, or keep asking about prices, hours and directions. A Google Business Profile and Instagram help, but you don't own them and they can't hold everything a customer wants to know. A small site of three to five pages puts it all in one place you control. - [AI website builder or a web design agency?](https://www.manvro.com/blog/ai-website-builder-vs-agency) (en, 2026-10-09): An AI website builder gives you a first version in minutes, and that's enough for a test or a business that's just starting. The limits show up later: on free plans the site lives on a subdomain with the platform's ads, the copy is generic, and on platforms like Wix the site can't be moved anywhere else. A site built by an agency costs more up front, but it starts from what your customers look for and stays yours. - [AI automation for small businesses: practical examples](https://www.manvro.com/blog/ai-automation-examples-small-business) (en, 2026-10-12): An AI automation takes over repetitive work with text and data: it answers questions that keep coming up, reads orders from email and enters them in a spreadsheet, pulls data out of documents, writes reports. For a small business, the tools cost from nothing (n8n on your own server, Make's free plan) to a few tens of dollars a month, plus the AI model, paid by usage. Decisions and exceptions stay with people. - [Get a quote](https://www.manvro.com/get-a-quote): a short form about the project (services, current state, features, goals, budget, timing); Romanian: https://www.manvro.com/ro/cere-oferta ## Contact - Tell us what you need and we will send you a quote.
