What we build

  • Apps for your customers

Orders, reservations or bookings from the phone, with the customer's account and history.

  • Loyalty cards

Points or stamps on the phone instead of paper cards, and offers for customers who come back.

  • Notifications

Messages straight to your customers' phones: the order is ready, the appointment is coming up, there is a new offer.

  • Apps for your team

For people in the field: orders, inventory, photos from the job, signatures and timesheets.

  • Phone features

The camera, code scanning, location, Apple Pay and Google Pay, unlocking with Face ID or a fingerprint.

  • The same data as your website

The app uses the same accounts and data as your website or web app, so a customer sees the same orders wherever they sign in.

Mobile app, web app or both?

  • Web app

Opens in the browser with nothing to install and reaches anyone with the link. A good fit when customers use it now and then.

  • Mobile app

Installed from the App Store or Google Play and kept on the phone's home screen. A good fit for customers who come back often: notifications, loyalty cards, quick orders.

  • Both

The same accounts and the same data, in the browser and on the phone. With React on the web and React Native on mobile, part of the code is shared.

What's included

From the first screens to the published app.

  • Design for iPhone and Android

Screens that work the way people expect on each phone.

  • One codebase

React Native and Expo: the same app on both platforms, built and updated once.

  • Server and admin panel

When the app needs them: the database, accounts and a panel where you see orders and send notifications.

  • Test builds on your phone

Along the way, you install the app on your own phone and try it before launch.

  • Publishing on the App Store and Google Play

We prepare the screenshots, text and store settings and submit the app for review.

  • Updates after launch

Fixes, new features and the updates new versions of iOS and Android require.

How we work

  1. 1

    We talk

You tell us who will use the app and what it has to do. We tell you what we propose and what it costs.

  2. 2

    We sketch

We draw the main screens, so you see the path through the app before any code.

  3. 3

    We build

We build in stages and send you test builds that you install on your own phone.

  4. 4

    We publish

We submit the app for review on the App Store and Google Play and launch it once it is approved.

Questions

How much does a mobile app cost?

It depends on how many screens and features it has, whether it has accounts and payments, and whether it needs a server and an admin panel. After our first conversation we send you the price, before any work starts. The stores charge their own fees: Apple asks $99 a year for a developer account, Google Play a one-time $25.

Why React Native?

Because the same app runs on iPhone and Android: we build and update it once, and its screens use the phone's native components. With Expo, small fixes can reach users without a new store review.

Do I need a mobile app, or is a website enough?

If your customers come back often and would use notifications, a loyalty card or quick ordering, a mobile app is worth it. If they mostly find you on Google and come now and then, a website or a web app fits better, because nothing has to be installed.

Whose account is the app published under?

We recommend your company's own developer account, so the app stays yours. We help you set it up and handle the publishing.

How long does App Store and Google Play approval take?

Apple's review usually takes a day or two. On Google Play, new personal developer accounts first have to test the app with at least 12 testers for 14 days; organisation accounts do not have this requirement.

What happens after launch?

Apple and Google release new versions of iOS and Android every year, and apps have to be updated to stay in the stores. We handle those updates, fixes and new features.

Do you work with companies outside Romania?

Yes. Calls, sketches and test builds all happen online, and the app can be in English, Romanian or both.
