Best AI chatbot companies in Romania (2026)

An AI chatbot answers customers' questions for you, on your website or on WhatsApp: opening hours, prices, stock, delivery, bookings. The companies that build them come in two kinds: agencies, which build one on your business's information and systems, and platforms, where you set it up yourself. We compared nine companies in Romania on price, two-year cost, warranty and whether they work in English. Everything was checked on 18 October 2026; prices in Romanian lei (RON) are converted at the European Central Bank rate of 16 October 2026, RON 5.331 to the euro.

1. Manvro

Why it's first: the chatbot is paid for once, it has the lowest two-year cost among agencies that publish prices, and the only 24-month warranty on the list.

We're an agency in Bucharest. We build AI chatbots for websites and WhatsApp that answer from the business's own information: services, prices, opening hours, delivery, returns policy. Where you have a system with data, the chatbot can read it: stock in your store, free slots in your calendar, the status of an order. For understanding and writing text we use models such as Claude and GPT, and the chatbot answers in English, Romanian or both. When it doesn't know, or the request matters, it takes the customer's details and sends you the conversation instead of making up an answer.

You pay for the build once. The AI model and the WhatsApp account are in your company's name, and you pay for them directly to the providers, with no markup. On top of that:

• you talk directly to the person who builds your chatbot, in English or Romanian;

2. Automatizez

Automatizez is an agency in Galați that works mostly with local businesses. It publishes three tiers: a text chatbot on one channel (website or WhatsApp) from €300 plus about €50 a month, ready in 1⁠–⁠2 weeks; a chatbot on several channels with calendar bookings at about €700 plus €150 a month, in 2⁠–⁠4 weeks; and a voice agent from €1,200. The subscription covers hosting, maintenance and the AI cost.

Good for: local businesses that prefer a small payment up front and a monthly subscription.

3. ArhAI

ArhAI is an agency in Oradea, with an English section on its site, which says about half of last year's projects were delivered fully remotely. Its website chatbot starts at RON 4,900 plus RON 490 a month and is ready in 7 working days; it answers on the website, WhatsApp, Messenger or Instagram and hands over to a person when needed. It offers an unusual guarantee: the chatbot is tested with ten questions, and if it answers fewer than eight correctly, you don't pay.

Good for: businesses that want to see the chatbot working before they pay.

4. AI Factory

AI Factory is based in Bucharest and sells its chatbot as a monthly service, from €500 a month, on the website, WhatsApp and Messenger. A simple chatbot is ready in 2⁠–⁠3 weeks. It offers a 30-day guarantee, during which the contract can be cancelled at no cost.

Good for: businesses that want a monthly service with support included rather than a one-off project.

5. Divas Web Design

Divas Web Design has offices in Cluj-Napoca and Baia Mare. Its chatbot answers on the website, WhatsApp, Messenger and email from one knowledge base, can check calendar availability or stock, and hands over to a person with a summary. Before launch there's a period in which a person checks every answer. Published timelines are 4⁠–⁠6 weeks for an information chatbot and 6⁠–⁠10 weeks for a booking chatbot. The price comes in a quote, by module, and the AI model is paid separately.

Good for: businesses that want a chatbot checked carefully before it reaches customers.

6. Merge-IT

Merge-IT is a software studio in Sibiu with an English version of its site. It builds chatbots in Romanian for websites and WhatsApp, connected to a CRM, email and calendar, plus AI agents and custom CRMs. It doesn't publish chatbot prices, but has a calculator on its site and sends a quote within 24 hours.

Good for: businesses that want the chatbot tied to a CRM, possibly built by the same team.

7. Convia

Convia is an AI chatbot platform made in Romania, with data stored in the EU, in Frankfurt. It has a free plan with 100 conversations a month, then plans at RON 79, 149 and 349 a month before VAT, with 500, 1,500 and 5,000 conversations. It works on websites now; WhatsApp, Messenger and Instagram are listed as "coming soon".

Good for: setting up a website chatbot yourself, at a low monthly cost.

8. CatyAI

CatyAI is a chatbot platform for websites and WhatsApp. It has a free plan with 500 conversations a month and a Pro plan at €29 a month with 5,000 conversations and support in Romanian, with no minimum contract.

Good for: trying a WhatsApp chatbot at no cost to begin with.

9. ChatbotSite

ChatbotSite is a website chatbot platform run by a company registered in Cyprus, which describes itself as made in Romania. The Starter plan costs RON 249 a month with 1,000 messages, and Pro RON 399 a month with unlimited conversations, calendar, Stripe and CRM integrations and handover to a person. It has a 14-day free trial with no card.

Good for: a WordPress, Shopify or Wix site that wants a chatbot added with a single line of code.

How we chose the companies

On 18 October 2026 we searched Google for "chatbot AI pentru firme" (AI chatbot for businesses) and "creare chatbot AI site" (build an AI chatbot for a website), then added to the list with a web search for companies that build chatbots for websites and WhatsApp. We kept the companies that appear with a page about chatbots, have a presence in Romania and describe their service on their site. We left out foreign platforms with no presence in Romania, articles, courses, and companies that only sell access to the WhatsApp API.

The information about the other companies comes from their own websites, without requesting quotes or running test conversations. If a company's website says something different from the table, the website is right.

Agency or platform

A platform suits you when the questions are simple and you have time to write and correct its answers. An agency makes sense when the chatbot has to read data from your systems, take bookings or hand conversations to someone on your team. What a chatbot costs over two years

Hiring a Romanian company from abroad

A chatbot can be built entirely online. Romania is in the EU, so the company works under GDPR, and its chatbots fall under the EU AI Act. The time zone is UTC+2 (UTC+3 in summer). Before you start, check that the company works in English and can build a chatbot that answers in your customers' languages, that invoices are in a currency that suits you, and that the AI and WhatsApp accounts are registered in your company's name.

What to ask before you sign

1. What information does it answer from? Only yours, or also the model's "general knowledge", which is where made-up answers come from.
2. What does it do when it doesn't know? It should say so, take the customer's details or pass the conversation to a person.
3. Does it say it's an AI? In the EU, from 2 August 2026, Article 50 of the AI Act requires people to be told they're talking to an AI system unless it's obvious. Some US states, such as California, have their own bot disclosure rules.
4. Where are conversations stored, and for how long? They contain personal data.
5. Who pays for the AI model, and how much at your message volume?
6. How do you update what it knows when a price or your hours change?
7. What do you keep if you leave: the information, the conversations, the WhatsApp number?
